We collect only what we need: an enquiry form that emails us and a cookie that remembers your consent choice. No advertising, no data sold and no third-party trackers.

Regional contact details

We show a Nigerian contact address to visitors in Nigeria and an international address to everyone else. Our hosting provider tells our server which country a request came from, and we store that two-letter country code in a cookie so the site does not need to check again.

We never read, log or store your IP address, and we do not use any third-party geolocation service. The country code is not linked to any other information about you.

Enquiries you send us

The contact form collects your name, work email, organisation and the message you write, and sends it to our server, which emails it to info@kanosystems.com through our email delivery provider. If the form cannot send, it opens your own mail client instead.

To block automated submissions, the contact page loads Cloudflare Turnstile. It runs in your browser and Cloudflare receives technical signals from your device, including your IP address, to decide whether you are a person. Our server only receives the result of that check, not your IP address.

We use your details to reply to you and, if we work together, to run the engagement. We do not add you to a mailing list without your consent, and we do not share your details with anyone outside the firm.

Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 24 months. Ask us sooner and we will delete them immediately.

Client data and engagements

Information we handle during an engagement, such as configuration exports, logs, assessment findings and penetration test reports, is governed by the engagement contract rather than this notice. In practice that means need-to-know access, encryption in transit and at rest, an agreed retention period and secure destruction afterwards.

We treat security reports as the most sensitive material we hold. They are never stored on personal devices or sent over unencrypted channels.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to us holding it at all. Write to info@kanosystems.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes to this notice

If we start using a category that is currently marked “Not in use”, we will ask for your consent again before setting anything. Your existing choice stays in force until you change it.
